Work will begin shortly (set to start this week) on Gunthorpe Road between Lowther Gardens and Coniston Road, which will see long awaited work to replace slabs and reconstruction of the footway, which has deteriorated over the years.

Commenting, local LIB DEM ward councillor Darren Fower said:

“This work is needed and I am glad that the City Council have listened to the people and their concerns. Hopefully the work will stay within schedule and no associated problems occur!”
