According to local residents the issue of problematic parking at the Cock Inn corner is STILL persisting! Do you live in and around the area? Do YOU see the inconsiderate parking people? What would YOU like to see done??
Commenting, local LIB DEM ward councillor, Darren Fower, said:
“I’d love to hear from local residents as to what they would like to see done at this problematic corner? I know that the issues are time sensitive and that its ongoing, and undertaken by a handful of narrow minded drivers, but I also conscious that a serious accident could occur too?”

they is major issues with this corner, firstly people parking on the double yellow lines or on the junction itself and then the turning in to the pub, i would say bollard the edge of the path to stop people using it to park cars, and then move the drop kerb for the pub car park further up next to the old petrol station, they has been a number of times where i have had to brake hard or swerve to avoid illegally parked cars or people pulling out due to not being able to see around the corner..
