Local LIB DEM ward councillor, Darren Fower, says that – according to the City Council – the slap replacement work, presently taking place along Gunthorpe Road, starting at Lowther Gardens.

Commenting, Darren said:

“The footpath along Gunthorpe Road is a well used stretch, by dog walkers and residents alike. Local residents living in and around this area have waited long enough for action from the Council to address the smoothness of the footpath, and as someone who has campaigned on this I am very happy to see action finally. Hopefully, the work will now be completed on time.”
