In and around this area there are 4 City Council wards, these include North Werrington, South Werrington & North Gunthorpe, Walton and Paston. This means there are a total of 11 City Councillors paid to represent the views of people in this area at the Tory dominated Town Hall.
Party wise there are three Lib Dem councillors, three “independents” and five Tory councillors.
Anyhow, Peterborough Liberal Democrats, are presently trying to get some ‘real’ people to stand for election in this and other areas, so if you feel you have a determination to represent your area, they WANT to hear from you!
